Chemistry Department (Agustos 2009-Today)

Existing  HPC systems needed to be integrated as a complete HPC turn-key solution.

Leveling has been performed for structuring of system and to enable the system that has active work in a better performance comparing to its current capacity in Chemistry Department.

SGE(Sun Grid Engine) software is used for work distribution in the systems. The software like Gaussian, TCP Linda are used for computational processes.

After accomplishment of the work, a report has been presented which recommends the points for development of inabilities on system’s hardware.

Providing support related to systems still on going under maintenance agreements.

Hardware : 8 HPC servers (Sun, SunFire x2100 servers)

Network : Gigabit Ethernet

File System : NFS over ethernet

Platform : RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.x

Workload & Resource Manager, Job Schedular, MPI : Open-PBS, Torque, SGE (Sun Grid Engine), Open-MPI, TCP/Linda

Cluster Management Software : none

Applications : Gaussian, Gausview, Spartan, Moe, Molden
