Newly Bought Systems needed to be integrated as a complete IT Infrastructure as a turn-key solution using Virtualization and Clustered File System. (2008)

Stage 1, Stage 2:

CompecTA Ltd. has played several roles and take responsibilities establishing the Main IT infrastructure in several core projects  within the organization. Those projects contain, migrating physical servers which are giving primary internet and intranet services to ITU-II users and guest, into the three-tier highly scalable, robust, high available, virtual environment.

This three-tier topology consist of redhat GFS2 cluster (tier 1), redhat virtualization cluster (tier 2) & redhat failover service clusters (tier 3).

GFS2 cluster contains 3 physical server attached to a HP storageworks EVA4400 storage via fiberchannel network.

RedHat Xen cluster contains 11 virtual servers in the pool which they are capable of providing live-migration.

On the top of the tier2, there are failover service clusters for well-known it services such as http/s, email, ftp and some specific aplication services.

CompecTA has fulfilled the obligations such as, Designing it services, Os Deployments, I/O and TCP/IP Network Configurations, etc…
